HUGUES, A PASSIONATE DEVELOPER !

TexelÉquipeFull-13

Hugues Lambert joined the Texel team in 2012. Thanks to his project development experience in different industries, he joined the Research and Development department as a project manager upon his arrival. He has worked actively on the development of roofing membranes, on the new concept of the Canadian military boot, and he has also participated in several other R&D projects during the last few years.

The popularity of architectural felt products began in 2015. Since then, Hugues has actively participated in the development of the acoustic products Feltkütur. The goal of developing that collection was to offer a product that met the specific needs of the architectural market. He worked in close collaboration with Michel Paré, R&D Technician at Texel, in order to find materials allowing the Düotex to achieve the fire and smoke resistance performances of the ASTM-E-84 and CAN / ULC-S102 standards. Every versions of Düotex have since been created; sush as peel and stick wall tiles (Düotex Tahmea) and the Tekboard honeycomb composite, often used as a component of phone booths and baffle systems.

Being aware of new consumer needs, our team continue to evolve in the face of changes in the architectural market. Hugues remains on the lookout for materials that will allow the evolution of the Feltkütur range of acoustic products in the future.

Thank you, Hugues.
