DÜOTEX ACOUSTIC FELT PANEL TECHNOLOGY

Made from recyclable polyester fibers, the Düotex panels are very effective in sound insulation. The flexible composition of the panels makes it possible to best absorb sounds of different frequencies. The acoustic performances are adjustable according to their disposition. The Düotex is available in 6.4mm or 12mm.

But that's not all: the mixture of different fibers gives them a very characteristic surface. You thus benefit from efficient and stylish acoustic felt panels.

PERSONALIZED AND CUSTOMIZED DÜOTEX ACOUSTIC PANELS

Thanks to our cutting partners, we can offer you practically custom shapes based on your drawings, in DXF or PDF format. In addition to very high cutting precision, this technology allows to create mosaic patterns or logos to be produced for unique designs, in several colors.

We can also cover your Düotex panels with our Feltväri range created by Guilford of Maine. Something to marry the best of both worlds: the acoustic performance of Düotex and the colors of the Feltväri for the design.

As for the installation of your acoustic felt panels, you can opt for nails, screws, liquid glue or not, or you can choose to use our Düotex Tahmea which is a self-adhesive acoustic panels. Major manufacturers also offer other solutions for mounting on walls or ceilings. You can also make "Baffles" (hanging panels) or stand-off panels.

HOW DO ACOUSTIC FELT DÜOTEX PANELS WORK?

The sound penetrates the surface and propagates inside the panels. Friction with fibers converts sound waves into thermal waves (porous absorption) and kinetic energy (resonance absorption). This is much more than with conventional materials thanks to the highly compressed fibers. The absorption of acoustic felt panels is even more efficient thanks to the acoustic background structure.
